Captain's Brew

Stepping onto the Yellow Footprints set me on a path I never could’ve imagined. Bootcamp challenged me, shaped me, and surrounded me with remarkable enlisted women whose strength left a lasting imprint. During a rare moment of downtime, I noticed a sharply dressed officer whose presence—and those shining bars—ignited a quiet resolve to follow that path myself. From my first duty station to earning the rank of E‑7, that spark never faded. Through determination and grit, I was selected for the WOBC Program and ultimately achieved the rank of (Limited Duty Officer) O3‑E Captain. Captain’s Brew is a tribute to that journey—proof that Enlisted to Officer is more than a slogan. It’s mission accomplished.
